Banknote Bulgaria 5000 Leva - Z Stoyanov - Monument - 1997

This banknote was issued by the Bulgarian National Bank in 1997. It has a face value of 5000 leva.

On the front of the banknote, there is a portrait of Zahari Stoyanov positioned on the left. In the center, a quill pen is depicted. The inscriptions, in Cyrillic alphabet, indicate the value of the banknote, the name of the issuing bank (Bulgarian National Bank), and the name of Zahari Stoyanov accompanied by his dates of birth and death (1851-1889). The designer of this front is Kiril Gogov.

The back of the banknote depicts the Plovdiv monument. This monument is dedicated to the union of Eastern Rumelia with Bulgaria and the proclamation of 1885 to the Bulgarian people. It is positioned on the right of the composition.

The dimensions of this banknote are 161 millimeters in length and 80 millimeters in width.
