This banknote is issued by Brazil, with a face value of 200 cruzeiros. It dates from the year 1984 and belongs to the A-A series.
The obverse of the banknote features a symmetrical composition with two similar images, inverted on a vertical axis. In the center are the portraits of Isabel Cristina Leopoldina Augusta Micaela Gabriela Rafaela Gonzaga de Bourbon-Duas Sicílias and Bragança, known as Princesa Isabel (1846 - 1921). The inscriptions "200 BANCO CENTRAL DO BRASIL 200" and "PRINCESA ISABEL CASA DA MOEDA DO BRASIL" are repeated on either side of the portraits. The engraver of this part of the banknote is José Maria das Neves, and the designer is Aloísio Sérgio Barbosa de Magalhães.
The reverse of the banknote repeats the same symmetrical structure with two similar images inverted vertically. The central scene depicts a pictorial illustration of former slaves in a rural setting, in reference to the abolition of slavery. The inscriptions "200 DUZENTOS CRUZEIROS" and "PRESIDENTE DO CONSELHO MONETÁRIO NACIONAL" are visible, as well as "PRESIDENTE DO BANCO CENTRAL DO BRASIL". The engraver of this part of the banknote is Dauro Alves de Sá, and the designer is Aloísio Sérgio Barbosa de Magalhães.
The banknote incorporates a watermark depicting the portrait of Princesa Isabel. Its dimensions are 154 millimeters in length and 74 millimeters in width.
