This banknote, with a face value of five dollars, is issued by the Central Bank of Belize. It is dated February 1, 2025.
On the front of the note is a portrait of George Cadle Price positioned on the left. The Belize coat of arms is printed at the top of the note. In the center, a representation of the National Assembly building, located at Independence Plaza in Belmopan, is visible. The face value is indicated as a registration device. The text is in English and in red.
The back of the note, also in red with a multi-colored underprint, features a view of the Belize City peninsula and Haulover Creek. Also visible are the Belize City Supreme Court building, as well as St. John's Cathedral, also located in Belize City. The face value is repeated as a means of registration. A PureImage windowed holographic security thread, adorned with a dome of the Belize Supreme Court, is incorporated.
The inscriptions on the front include the mention of the Central Bank of Belize, the issuance under the authority of the 1982 Central Bank of Belize Act, and the designation of five dollars as legal tender for the payment of any amount in Belize. The back also displays the name of the Central Bank of Belize, the value of five dollars, and the mention of historical buildings in Belize.
