This Belgian banknote, with a face value of 50 francs, was issued in 1966. It belongs to the V series and features King Baudouin and Queen Fabiola.
The front of the banknote features a portrait of King Baudouin and Queen Fabiola. The Latin inscriptions include "KONINKRIJK BELGIE" (Kingdom of Belgium), "VIJFTIG FRANK" (Fifty Francs), the date of issue "16.05.66", as well as the mention "DE DIRECTEUR-GENERAAL DER THESAURIE" (The Director-General of the Treasury) and a legal warning: "DE NAMAKER WORDT DOOR DE WET GESTRAFT" (The counterfeiter will be punished by law). The face value "50" is also indicated. The names of the artists, "C. LECLERCQZ SC." and "L. DE DECKER DEL", also appear on this side.
The back of the banknote depicts the Parliament in Brussels.
