This 50 Francs banknote, Farmers type, was issued on April 3, 1956 and bears the series K05. It belongs to the category of banknotes of Belgium.
The front of the banknote features a palette of yellow, green, purple and multicolored colors. On the left, there is a farmer's wife holding a basket filled with fruit. On the right, a farmer is depicted planting a tree. The following inscriptions are present: "ROYAUME DE BELGIQUE", "01-06-48", "50 FRANCS", "PAYABLES A VUE", and "TRESORERIE". The signatures "M.POORTMAN SC." and "L. BUISSERET DEL." are also found. The script used is Latin. Maurice Poortman is identified as the engraver, while Louis Buisseret is designated as the designer.
On the back, the same dominant colors are found: yellow, green, purple and multicolored. An agricultural scene is depicted, with a mower on the left and a woman binding a sheaf of wheat on the right.
