This banknote comes from Belgium and was issued in 1952. It is a 100 franc note, belonging to the P series. The note weighs one gram and its dimensions are 142 mm in length by 74 mm in width.
The front of the note features a portrait of King Leopold I. The inscriptions, written in Latin, include the words "BANQUE NATIONALE DE BELGIQUE" and the face value "CENT FRANCS". It also includes the mention "PAYABLE A VUE" and the date January 27, 1959. A legal warning is present: "LE CONTRAFACTEUR EST PUNI DES TRAVAUX FORCES (ART 173 DU CODE PENAL)". The names of the artists involved in the creation of the note are mentioned: "G. MINGUET SC." for the engraver Guillaume Minguet and "L. BUISSERET DEL." for the designer Louis Buisseret.
