Description
This commemorative 50 taka banknote was issued in 2023 by the Bangladesh Bank. It celebrates the opening of the Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Tunnel.
The front of the banknote features a portrait of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman on the left side. In the center is a representation of the entrance to the Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Tunnel. A watermark is positioned on the right side of the banknote.
The back of the banknote shows a view of the interior of the tunnel. The logo of the issuing bank is visible on the right side.
This banknote commemorates a significant event in the history of Bangladesh, namely the inauguration of the Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Tunnel.
