This 20 Argentine Peso banknote, issued in 2018, is part of Series G. The front of the banknote features a portrait of Juan Manuel de Rosas, an Argentine political and military figure. The inscription "BANCO CENTRAL DE LA REPUBLICA ARGENTINA" is clearly printed, as is the face value "VEINTE PESOS" and the name of Juan Manuel de Rosas.
On the back, the banknote features an illustration based on the painting "Combate - La Vuelta de Obligado", commemorating an Argentine historical event. It also reads "REPUBLICA ARGENTINA" as well as the motto "en unión y libertad". A more detailed inscription provides biographical information about Juan Manuel de Rosas, indicating that he was an "Estanciero, Politico y militar, gobernador de la provincia de Buenos Aires (1829-1832 / 1835-1852)" and specifying his dates of birth and death (Buenos Aires 1793 - Southampton 1877). The name of the battle, "COMBATE DE LA VUELTA DE OBLIGADO", is also mentioned.
The banknote measures 155 mm in length and 65 mm in width. The texts on the banknote are written in Spanish and use the Latin alphabet.
