This banknote originates from Argentina and was issued in 1967. It has a face value of 100 pesos.
The obverse of the banknote is reddish-brown in color. It features a portrait of José de San Martín, depicted in uniform, positioned on the right side of the note. The inscriptions in Latin letters include the name of the issuing bank, "El Banco Central de la República Argentina", as well as the promise of payment "pagará al portador y a la vista Cien pesos". It also mentions the laws "LEYES Nº 12.962 Y 13.571" and the designation "MONEDA NACIONAL" followed by the value "100 PESOS".
The reverse of the banknote, also reddish-brown in color, features an illustration depicting Spaniards and Indians. This illustration is a reproduction of the painting "Second Foundation of Buenos Aires" by José Moreno Carbonero. The inscriptions in Latin letters include "Republica Argentina" and the face value "Cien Pesos 100".
