The 10 Apsars banknote issued in 2024 by the Bank of Abkhazia features a representation of a Caucasian leopard (Panthera pardus tulliana) on its obverse. Beside it is an ornate ancient bronze axe. The emblem of the Republic of Abkhazia is reproduced on the right and left sides of the banknote, accompanied by the face value. The inscriptions are in the Cyrillic alphabet.
The obverse of the banknote bears the following inscriptions: "10 ?????", repeated twice, and "????? ?????", meaning "Bank of Abkhazia". The word "?????", which means "Abkhazia", is also present.
The reverse of the banknote depicts a bronze axe and the upper part of the "alabasha", a traditional Abkhazian military and hierarchical attribute. The face value "10" and the serial number of the banknote are also inscribed there, also in Cyrillic.
The inscription "????? ?????" and the face value "10 ?????" are found on the reverse.
The watermark of the banknote depicts the Caucasian leopard (Panthera pardus tulliana). Beslan Baratelia (BB), the President of the Bank of Abkhazia, is associated with the issuance of this banknote.
