The obverse of the coin features: on a mirrored background, the emblem of the State Security Office of Ukraine (left), the face value of 5 and the graphic symbol of the hryvnia (above the emblem); small coats of arms of the State of Ukraine, inscriptions : UKRAINE / 2024, Currency of the National Bank of Ukraine (below the emblem); on the right, on a matt background, the motto: STATE / PEOPLE / LAW.

On the reverse of the coin, a stylised composition is set against a mirror background, symbolising different historical periods in the formation of Ukraine and the defence of the State by Ukrainian soldiers, whose bravery has remained unchanged through the generations. To the left of the composition is a stylised trident; in the centre, a mace with a sword, a shield decorated with a Cossack cross, symbols of power, martial brotherhood and protection; to the right, a fragment of a camera lens, a symbol of modern technology in the organisation of the protection and security process.
