These little Phrygian hats are already familiar to the French and embody the spirit of the Games. This year, the mascots symbolise the Games as they arrive and spread throughout France. What stronger symbol to represent France than the natural and architectural heritage that makes it so beautiful?

On this coin, covered in snow, the Olympic Games mascot has a bemused look on her face. Behind her, Mont Blanc is also full of snow, and the fir trees scattered at its foot and on its slopes are also decorated with snow.
