Bi-metallic (nickel silver centre - cupronickel ring) - 8 5 g - 25 75 mm in diameter - 2 20 mm thick.

The centre of the national side (obverse) of the coin depicts a stylised sunflower whose petals resemble silhouettes of people holding hands, embracing and protecting each other, embodying unity, support and the power of being together. Through artistic means, the sunflower is conceived as the rising sun - the hope of a new beginning - and as birds - freedom, hope and courage - as people rising above circumstances, never accepting a forced will - an allusion to those who have sacrificed their lives and their departing souls. The composition is surrounded by the inscriptions LIETUVA (LITHUANIA) KARTU SU UKRAINA (TOGETHER WITH UKRAINE), the year of issue (2023) and the mintmark of the Lithuanian Mint. The outer ring of the coin bears the twelve stars of the flag of the European Union.

Edge: striated and inscribed with the inscription LAISVÉ VIENYBÉ GEROVÉ" (Freedom Solidarity Prosperity), each word followed by a star.
