Rare provincial gold coin from feudal Japan, issued in the Koshu region, which was operating gold mines at the time. It is an official government gold coin with a value of 1 bu.

Minted by the Matsuki Clan under the authority of the famous samurai Takeda Shingen. Takeda Shingen was the head of the Takeda clan from 1541 to 1573.
