On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the death of the anti-mafia judges Falcone and Borsellino, the IPZS is offering its second 2 euro commemorative coin in 2022. It features portraits of the two Italian judges Giovanni Falcone and Paolo Borsellino inspired by a photo by Tony Gentile.

Above, the inscription in the form of an arc "FALCONE - BORSELLINO"; below, the dates "1992 2022", respectively the year of death of the two judges and the year of issue of the coin, with the acronym of the Italian Republic "RI" in between; on the right, "R" identifying the Mint of Rome; on the left, "VdS", the initials of the designer, Valerio de Seta; and all around, the twelve stars of the European Union.

Edge: striated and inscribed with a 2 followed by a star, all repeated six times, alternating right side and reverse.
