SECOND EMPIRE: THE INCREDIBLE LOT!

To mark the 150th anniversary of the death of Louis-Napoléon Bonaparte, Emonnaies is offering an exceptional Second Empire lot. This lot includes a stamp stamped on paper, a tax stamp, a Napoleon III coin, a watermarked notarised document with a wet stamp and a dry stamp. As all the items are period items, each batch is unique and has a different presentation. 

A wet stamp authenticates the papers that the law requires to be used. It is the result of the action of an administrative stamp used with greasy ink. 
A dry stamp has the same function as a wet stamp and can be used on the same document. However, it is embossed on the paper, without ink.
