France will be hosting the Olympic Games in Paris in 2024. To celebrate this event, the Monnaie de Paris is issuing a magnificent series of "JO Paris 2024" coins. You will now find the set of 5 blister packs of the French commemorative 2 euros 2024 in the BU version.

After Marianne in 2021, the Genie in 2022 and the Sower in 2023, the face of this coin features Hercules wrestling.
In the background is a view of Notre-Dame de Paris cathedral, considered to be one of the most emblematic monuments in Paris.
It is located just a few metres from the Monnaie de Paris on the Ile de la Cité.

Edge: striated and inscribed with a 2 followed by two stars, all repeated six times, alternating right side up and upside down.
