Quality: UNC (uncirculated).
Circulation: 10,000,000 in UNC, 10,000 in BU and 10,000 in BE.
Bi-metallic (nickel silver centre - cupronickel ring) - 85 g - 25 75 mm in diameter - 2 20 mm thick.

Edge: striated and inscribed with a 2 followed by two stars, repeated six times, alternating right side and reverse.

The BU and BE versions are coloured by Monnaie de Paris.

To mark the 25th anniversary of the Pink Ribbon campaign, Monnaie de Paris is issuing a commemorative €2 coin dedicated to the fight against breast cancer. For the sale of each 2 euro coin in the BU or BE version, the sum of 2 euros will be donated to the "Pink October" association.

The design on the front depicts the bust of a woman whose hand is protecting her breast with the help of a coloured pink ribbon as a symbol of the help provided in the fight against breast cancer. The words "25th anniversary of the pink ribbon" are written around the edge, along with the dates 1992 - 2017 and RF.
